EPIC B2B Meeting

– Title :

Epic Round Table on Lidar Technology for Defence at OPTRO

– Date & Location :

Thursday 8th February 2018 from 14:00 to 16:00.

OECD Conference Center, 2, rue André Pascal – F-75016 Paris.

– Objectives:

The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate the exchange of information between the photonics component and system suppliers and integrators of the Aerospace, Security and Defence industry. Based on an examination of subjects proposed by technology-integrators, technologies in the following technical fields will be presented: Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) systems

EPIC B2B Meeting Concept – Component and system suppliers from small/medium/large companies who have a new or innovative technological solution present their technologies to integrators who seek specific capabilities and performance. The technologies presented should be innovative and new and ready for integration into a final system. Integrators will briefly present their needs and requirements in the field of Photonics. Participants will have ample opportunities to network and be able to discuss business and technology details during the event. The EPIC B2B Roundtable accelerates the presence in the market of key competitive technologies.

Important information

Security

For safety reasons, security checks will be organized systematically at the entrance of the conference center. Registration on site will not be possible. Your ID, visitor access pass sent by email and  payment recipe will be requested at the entrance of the Conference Center.

Climate

Paris has a temperate climate which will be familiar to visitors from the UK and most of the north of Western Europe. Because there are no extremes of climate, the weather adds to the city’s charm, rather than detracting from it. Even rainy days can be beautiful in the city of light, especially at night when the lights reflect in the puddles.

February is a very cool time in Paris, when the city is in the midst of the winter season. During this month, the average temperature for the capital increases very slightly from 4°C up to 5.5°C.
